Hi everyone, Upstep 2008 concert is now officially over. As you will all probably know we held the final stage on the 12th of September at the Top of the Cross venue (Canberra Southern Cross Club, Woden, Canberra). We had 6 ecstatic/amazining finalists (Rubycon, Stigmata, Starfish Hill, The Magic Hands, MyOnus and Alone With You) perform throughout the hours of 6:30pm and 11 pm as well as a guest performer (who was also the mc for the night) Tabitha Omaji an amazing original Soul artist based right here in Canberra.

We (Upstep) would like to say a huge thankyou to our fantastic sponsors for their support to turn the idea of holding an event such as Upstep into a reality, to the bands for giving us such a great show, to both the Upstep and Red Cross volunteers for giving up their Friday evening to help us out, to Tabitha Omaji for lending us her incredible voice for the evening and to the Canberra Southern Cross Club  for allowing us to hold Upstep in their venue!
